Dear doctors, Parents brought their child who was aged 4 and half years with h/o cough and cold since 8 days. He took treatment from the other doctor but it did not subsided. Though no h/o fever and throat pain but o/e tonsils enlarged and chest clear. I gave symptomatic treatment along with Azithromycin as per body weight.
After 10 days, child again started coughing, subsided completely but still running nose is present. The child is having disturbed sleep since 2 days and blocking of nose sometimes both the nostrils. I gave Levocetirizine 2.5 mg and Montelukast 5mg along with Oxymetazoline drops for 5 days and advised for x-ray after 5 days.
