Case presentation: A 59-year-old male presented with dark urine, and yellowish skin discoloration. Six days prior to presentation, the individual experienced fever and chills.
This was followed by fatigue, lack of appetite and body pains. He was not sexually active and denied consuming alcohol, cigarettes, or illegal drugs and any over-the-counter, prescription, or natural supplements.
