Can anybody guide what will be status of Sonologists who are not Radiologists and Gynaecologists from 01.01.2017? PC PNDT rules Jan 2014 have been amended with a biased mind. Radiologists and Gynaecologists have been exempted from competency based tests even if they had not seen USG machines during their PG Training. All doctors who are doing USG have learnt by experience.
There is discrimination for doctors even if they are doing it for 15-20 years and are registered with Dist appropriate authority for many years. Most State governments have not yet issued notification for Training of Sonography and Competency based exams and time is running short. The law has been amended with a biased mind without any foresight Please give you valuable feedback and suggestions.
