A 7-week-old previously healthy infant presented with a 4-week history of a worsening, widespread, papulovesicular rash. The infant has been more restless and irritated during the night. Physical examination revealed burrows without excoriations. The involvement of bacterial or fungal elements was ruled out.

The parents reported that the babysitter had nighttime pruritus. The baby is suspected of having scabies. Source: JAMA
