Health Finances---- There is a saying in Shole " chale ek rupye mein ,Sara jungle kharidne" . With 2 percent or 2.5 percent of GDP spent on healthcare, we do not expect to provide healthcare to all 1300 millions. Most of money spent for treatment is out of pocket and derails the whole family budget. The insurance companies will find it very unaffordable to pay for all treatments in the tertiary hospitals. Moreover all the people do not need high end surgeries like heart transplant, liver transplant etc.If all beurocrats or politicians go abroad for treatment from public money, how will health infrastructure improve?
