The World Health Organization (WHO) has issued comprehensive guidelines for the clinical management of filovirus diseases, including all forms of Ebola and Marburg virus infections. The new guidance aims to support healthcare professionals with evidence-based recommendations for delivering standardized and effective care during outbreaks. The guidelines include 16 recommendations covering key aspects of patient management, such as early diagnosis, supportive care, fluid and electrolyte management, monitoring, and treatment of complications.
