Amidst the worldwide coronavirus outbreak, the World Health Organisation (WHO) has shared the latest insights regarding the transmission of the virus . The official website post has mentioned that the coronavirus is not airborne . It means that the virus is mainly transmitted through droplets when an infected person coughs, sneezes or speaks. The transmission occurs when an individual comes in close contact (less than one meter) with the infected person for more than 10 minutes, or by touching eyes, nose or mouth after contacting a contaminated surface. To avoid infection, WHO has given certain tips which include: Keeping one-meter distance from others and wearing a mask.
