our Allopathic Doctor sector is very disorganised and the corporates and big Hospitals are appointing the Young Doctors and junior consultants on fixed salary basis. Most of the time it is not proportionate to the work being extracted from them .They make them work for 10-12 hrs at a stretch and show as if they are paying them good salaries ,in reality they are extending the work hours and paying them peanuts. Its Time I feel our younger doctors should not be exploited .As IMA is the parent body they should come up with minimum wages for Junior registrar or. A consultant and can devide the area of practice into bigger cities smaller cities and towns and proportionate to the living standards the wages should be fixed. If some one is really good automatically they command more pay. This aspect of minimum wages should be seriously considered by the IMA and they can negotiate with the Nursing…
Why can't IMA prescribe Minimum Wages for Doctors working as Registrars or Junior consultants
