Every year, 6th October is observed as World Cerebral Palsy Day . The theme for this year is “Millions of Reasons for Accessible Technology Solutions” for patients with cerebral palsy. Cerebral palsy causes many disabilities ranging from mobility issues to communication issues. These disabilities can be mild, moderate, or severe and affect the quality of life of patients.
Technology or assistive devices that are accessible make it easier for cerebral palsy patients to have a more engaging social life and be participative and confident, thereby improving their quality of life.
