Tobacco consumption is an increasing public health burden associated with life-threatening health consequences. The tobacco industry rolls out various products that interfere with the attempt to reduce this increasing health crisis. On the occasion of “World No Tobacco Day,” the WHO is supporting the theme “Grow Food, Not Tobacco” to encourage campaigns requesting the government to stop tobacco subsidies and assist the farmers in supporting sustainable agriculture.
