Parents of a 4 year old female child noticed a change in her behaviour one month back. During evening hours only, the child after passing urine changed her underwear repeatedly 3 to 4 times on the pretext that it is soiled. When scolded by her mother, she cried. From Next day her mother noticed that she repeated this behaviour secretly in adjoining room.
Now the mother notices that child is always irritable during evening hours, repeates this behaviour till she gets tired and goes to sleep. Child never behaves like this if she stays at her grandmother house with her cousins. Psychiatrist colleagues to please suggest diagnosis and management?
