A 34-year old man complained of erythematous, non-scaling plaque appeared on his forehead. The band appeared 1 year ago and extended onto the scalp, resulting in a liner non-scarring alopecia. Initial therapy of topical glucocorticoids failed. Hence, the skin biopsy was performed. Histology (Alcian-PAS staining was performed) Showed normal epidermis, accumulation of mucin in dermis, and lobular lymphocytic panniculitis.
