Diagnosis of psychiatric conditions with complex clinical symptoms is a challenge. With novel technologies, genetically assessing patients with complex clinical symptoms has become easy. 47, XXY syndrome is a chromosomal deformity that occurs in 1 out of 1000 male births. Findings suggest that the 47, XXY syndrome is associated with neurodevelopmental disorders. Diagnosing this syndrome is difficult as there is no recognizable hallmark phenotype except tall structure.
