A Patient was admitted to emergency ward due to fever. His son who accompanied him was sent out by attending doctor despite his refusal. The patient was shifted to the ward, after some time his son was informed that patient was needed to be shifted to ICU due to his serious condition. Attendant asked about injury on head and bleeding on the sweater of the patient.After some time patient died.His son filed a complaint for negligence and told doctor was rude, could not satisfactorily answer cause of bleeding.
He presumed that his father fell from the hospital bed while shifting from stretcher to bed. Medical superintendent statement that hemoglobin and platelet count were very low, the patient may have a stroke which can because of fall and injury. What is your opinion? Kindly share.
