Should an abcess over the upper part of back drained? Patient complaints of loss of sensation in both lower limbs and heaviness in both lower limbs.

Patient is poor and cant afford any investigations and abcess appears to be near midline and just below c7 and t1 vertebra. Abcess is already discharging pus.
