A 19-year-old woman was admitted to the hospital because of right-lower-quadrant pain, mild grade fever and vomiting for 3 day. She also complained of having decreased appetite, discomfort for 1 month. On admission, her oral temperature was 39.9°C. Physical examination revealed tenderness, guarding, and rebound tenderness over the right lower quadrant of the abdomen. Ultrasound scan of the abdomen showed no abnormality except positive probe tenderness.WBC count 6800 with lymphoytsis . Widal test 1:160 for both O and H antigen.

Intravenous ceftriaxone  and metronidazole were administered for 7 days . She was discharged after7  days of hospitalization. After 2 weeks again presented with similar complaints. How to proceed now ? treat as resistant enteric fever or recurrent appendicitis?
