A 12-year-old boy was admitted to the hospital for the treatment of scoliosis. He was diagnosed with NF-1 (neurofibromatosis) due to the presence of café-au-lait macules and scoliosis. The scoliotic curve was 730 when measured by Cobb’s technique on plain X-ray. Chest CT revealed a neurofibroma in the posterior mediastinum.
