Laparoscopic transabdominal preperitoneal (TAPP) inguinal hernia repair is an evolving technique for repair of the recurrent hernia. Some of the advantages of TAPP include less post-operative pain, early recovery with a minimal hospital stay, low post-operative complications, and low recurrence rates. However, performing TAPP can be daunting and requires high expertise. Given the high success rate and patient satisfaction, TAPP is a technique worth learning. To make the TAPP technique easier, Docplexus, in association with the Hernia Society of India, has organized a masterclass on 29th Aug 2020 at 4 pm. In this session, experts will share valuable insights on achieving excellence in TAPP.
