A 2025 scoping review of 20 studies shows that artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping fixed tooth- and implant-supported prosthodontics , delivering high accuracy in implant site planning (90–99.5%), clinically acceptable crown morphology (0.18–0.30 mm deviation; 59–83 µm internal gaps), and efficient full-arch framework optimization through advanced algorithms such as PSO and BESO. Prognostic models also demonstrated strong predictive performance, with >90% accuracy for implant survival and treatment outcomes. However, most evidence remains early-stage, simulation-based, and lacking prospective clinical validation.
