AIIMS and IIT Delhi have come together by signing a MoU to develop technology-driven healthcare solutions. All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) and Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi (IIT-D) have joined together for exchanging research proposals to develop technology-driven healthcare solutions. Also, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the directors of the two institutes, Randeep Guleria of AIIMS and V. Ramgopal Rao of IIT-Delhi.
The aim of this collaboration is to come up with low cost technology-driven solutions and develop new equipment for diagnosis and medical testing. This step was taken to promote joint research in academics by combining technological expertise with medical expertise.
