AIIMS will now be adopting the Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) model for MBBS application. The PAAR model was earlier adopted for AIIMS PG applications. This PAAR model reduces the necessity to register twice. Now the candidates need to complete basic registration only once and apply for one or both the exams by completing the final registration process separately. AIIMS stated that “ a majority of rejection was due to improper filling of details in the application form other than the educational qualification ”.
The two-stage process is expected to reduce the rejections which result from wrong or incomplete information provided at the time of application.
