Allergic rhinitis (AR) is the most common of all atopic conditions, affecting approximately 10%–30% of adults and up to 40% of children worldwide.1-3 The condition, however, is often underdiagnosed by physicians and overlooked by patients.2 The condition is difficult to diagnose as every subtype of AR has distinct pathophysiology. Therefore, the treatment of AR requires a thorough clinical profiling of the patients.
