Usually, in late pregnancy, we encounter cases of intractable itching of the whole body. After excluding skin diseases, LFT (Liver function test) may be done to exclude cholestasis of pregnancy. If LFT is normal, tab Amitriptyline 10 mg, 1tab t.d.s. may be tried.
