Case presentation A premature infant born to a multiparous mother, showed persistent anemia post-delivery, and other prematurity associated comorbidities. Patient history During pregnancy, the infant’s mother required multiple percutaneous umbilical blood sampling (PUBS) due to fetal anemia. Immune-mediated causes for the fetal anemia were found negative.
