Highlights Aneurysmal bone cysts (ABC) should be meticulously managed to prevent a recurrence, especially in the growing spine. Treating ABC with scoliosis correction can prevent deformity progression.

Case presentation A 12-year-old male patient without any comorbid conditions -       - Presented with a spinal deformity for around four months       - Had no complaints of pain or neurological symptoms Medical history Bone graft augmentation and posterior instrumentation (T10-12) of an aneurysmal bone cyst (ABC) of the T11 vertebra.
