Hypertension prevalence in India is 29.8%, of which 5-10% of cases are attributable to endocrine hypertension. Primary hyperaldosteronism associated with hypokalemia is difficult to manage. Its early diagnosis and treatment may significantly help in reducing associated morbidity and mortality. Osteoporosis is also known as a silent disorder, where most of the patients remain undiagnosed and untreated, leading to fragility fractures. This demands a more systematic approach towards its screening and management for improving the quality of life of patients.
