Supreme Court has asked All India Institute of Medical Science to draft national action plan to combat drug abuse, especially in school going children. During last year, 100% of children in conflict with the law were drug abusers, as per the study conducted by Delhi Commission for protection of child rights on substance abuse by kids.

Out of them, 95.5% staying in childcare institute were on drugs while 93% percentage of street children consumed narcotics.
