The Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to announce lunch of Ayushman Bharat- National Health Protection Scheme (AB-NHPS) tomorrow on the occasion of Independence Day. The aim of AB-NHPS is to provide a coverage of Rs 5 lakh per family annually and it's beneficial for more than 10 crores poor family.
The center has allocated 10,000 crores for this project and it is claimed to be a World's largest government-funded health insurance programme.
