Researchers at the University of Seville performed a study to develop an easy strategy for accurately classifying hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) risk in hepatitis C virus (HCV) patients with sustained virological response (SVR). Patients at risk were identified using a mixture of two diagnostic methods: transient elastography (TE) and ultrasound.
