Scientists have created an artificial intelligence (AI) system that could help treat patients with sepsis. The AI was developed after analyzing records from about 100,000 hospitalized patients. After completing the study, it was concluded that the AI could provide sepsis management strategies on which doctors could rely. Sepsis claims around six million lives worldwide.

Researchers from Imperial College, London, have developed an AI system, and the findings of this study have been documented in Nature Medicine .
