As per new MCI rules for becoming an Assistant Prof., one-year Senior residency is required after MD. Will one year as Tutor is enough to be AP ( in MIcro)? Will it be considered as equivalent to SRship? In many states the title of the post is different - In Rajasthan, it is Sr.
Demonstrator, In Gujarat it is Tutor, In Few central institutes like AIIMS both Tutors & Sr. Residents are available. These all are very confusing. And add to this burden of extra experience & then only one is qualified for consideration to be AP.
