Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) has been linked to various comorbidities in the patients. The new study suggests that mothers with PCOS may transfer the risk of autism to their offspring. Autism is a developmental disability characterized by communication, behavioral and social problems. It is observed that the prevalence of autism is on the rise.
