Attending patients at patients's residence, or at doctor's residence at odd hours, are many times disappointing, as the doctor may not be paid adequately for that. It may be even risky, as a doctor may be called by a criminal in the form of a fake patient, especially during night. Is it legally obligatory for the doctor to attend such patients ?
Can the doctor refuse to do so ? Can and should doctors put a notice 'NO HOME VISITS' at their clinics and hospitals, and a notice 'NO PATIENTS ATTENDED HERE' at their residence ?
