A 61-year-old patient with 5 years H/O bilateral hand pain, difficulty in cutting, chopping, kneading, carrying any weight etc. Nerve conduction tests were normal-both sensory and motor aspects show normal function, a 4/5. Got an opinion from several neurologists and rheumatologists. RA ruled clinically and by lab tests.

Received Gabapin with only little relief. There is an H/O knee replacement surgery prior to the onset of the pain. The last diagnosis made was atypical hand pain, which in my opinion is no diagnosis. Can anyone throw some light on this?
