These drugs are being used as anti-VEGF factor to control the further deterioration or even recover vision to some extent in cases Diabetic Retinopathy, Wet ARMD and CRVO.These drugs check the subfoveal choroidal neovascularization. Ranibizumab injection in India costs around Rs 26000/ whereas Injection Bevacizumab vial cost almost the same but it can be used in about 8-10 patients, thereby reducing the cost of therapy significantly.
