Bed sores take the life of elderlies due to lack of knowledge of family members and neglect of nursing. There are rich educated people, either don't want to spend on trained nursing personnel or due to lack of understanding allow the development of sores and then open eyes and run for help. Advise from unscrupulous, unprincipled, unethical conscienceless and untrustworthy people destroy the patient’s condition. I feel very sad when my own friends and acquaintances don’t listen to me. They later come regretting.
But there is no use crying over the spilt of milk. I have over 50 such elderly suffering with bed sores but most of them are not willing to take vacuum assisted dressing treatment.
