Best Anticholinergic drug, for use in treating Bradycardia, during Spinal Anaesthesia is Hyoscine Hyoscine causes more Tachycardia, more Vagolytic Action, than Atropine. Hyoscine has Sedative, Amnesic, Antiemetic actions also.
Hyoscine has strong Smooth muscle relaxant and a very good Visceral Analgesic Action. Hyoscine has more advantages, when compared to Atropine, in treating Bradycardia during Spinal Anaesthesia and also other High vagal tone Conditions( like pediatric Anaesthesia etc ) Share your opinion.
