A 7-year-old boy presented at an ENT specialist’s clinic with a chronic ear infection. The father of the patient stated that the child has had an ear infection since the age of three, which has been deteriorating recently. The child has been taking amoxicillin and biaxin regularly since the last four years. The patient had undergone a surgery three years ago, when tubes were put in his ears. Recently, one of the tubes fell out and a surgery to re-insert new tubes was suggested.
