Dear colleagues and young aspirants for Super specialization, I write this with a heavy heart in highlighting the plight of the young medical aspirants especially the one aspiring for the super specialization. You are all aware of the All India examination conducted by NBE for MCh entrance. Most of the Tamil Nadu colleges take and INSIST on a TEN YEAR BOND with a penalty clause of INR TWO CRORES!!! How many of the really meritorious aspirants are able to fulfill the conditions laid down in the BOND? Firstly , is it legally and morally permissible to stipulate a TEN YEAR bond for a THREE-year course?

Secondly , who has the monetary capability to execute a BOND OF TWO CRORES? Thirdly , the insistence on a SURETY with PAN details is a step towards putting the aspirants into the gallows. Now I request the opinion of my honourable colleagues as to what is their take on this? should the…
