Anti VG drugs are a common modality of treatment in diabetic macular odema as we know D is on rise due to many factors apart from genetic aspect it has become a lifestyle disorder Lack of execise Obesity Diet High caloric fast food Salt sugar and stress As far as diabetic macular odema is concerned we often use anti-VG the s first choice. But in indian set up its cost is high so many poor patients may not afford it and it has to be repeated so in these patients steroids is the second option but we must tell the patients before that one may get steriod induced glaucoma by its use one can say that use of striods is 2nd choice.
