Marfan syndrome is a kind of genetic disorder affecting both males and females equally with no racial prediction. Its prevalence in USA is 1 in 5,000. It is characterized by loss of elasticity since it affects joints, cartilages bones, tendons, skin, CNS, lungs, eyes, blood vessels and heart valves.

MS is a syndrome complex having ocular skeletomuscular and CNS manifestations. Ocular manifestations are Subluxation and dislocation of lens spherophakia, Ectopia lentes, keratoconus, nystagmus, squint cataract, glaucoma, high myopia and retinal detachment.
