In India, brucellosis infection is often a neglected infection. Human brucellosis can be managed effectively with a combination of antibiotics but is very difficult to diagnose and requires laboratory testing for confirmation. The main goal of medical therapy is to control symptoms as quickly as possible to prevent further complications and relapses. Initially, it can be treated with supportive care.
