A male pt.aged 48years came to me with complains of intermittent pain ( once or twice a month mainly during night when he is sleeping )..continous or spasmodic pain in & arround anal sphincter which persists for 1/2 hr to 1hr with severe perspiration b'cos of pain . No history of contipation but he frequently suffers of mucus in stool . On examination there was no piles or fissure or perianal abcess.
When pain occurs he feels that if he passes stool then it might be releaved. Many a times passing stool releaves his pain & many a times it is not Kindly advice me the cause of the above & its treatment
