ln a 60 years old man who is diabetic for the last 20 years, hypertensive 18 years well controlled with medications has NASH 5 years ago for which he was prescribed ursodeoxycholic acid 300 mg BD, Vitamin E 400 mg OD, Folic acid 5 mg BD  and combo Calcium 400 mg elemental Vitamin D3 500 I.U BD. Now on routine testing severe CAD has been diagnosed. Vitamin K2 containing calcium supplements are claimed to direct calcium in bones preventing its deposition in blood vessels.

In this patient with multi-risk factors for CAD, can calcium supplementation has some added role or not? Kindly share.
