There are multiple ways of generating income. Is doctor allowed to own business firm in his name? (business firm can include anything from company manufacturing clothes, firm dealing with medical equipment, pharma company  etc.) I mean can do doctor head a business firm?

Legally, does MCI barr/stop the doctor from having a business firm? Kindly share the legal aspect.
