In patients with resectable non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) , greater pathologic response rates are observed in the case of neoadjuvant ipilimumab+nivolumab (Ipi+Nivo) and nivolumab+chemotherapy (Nivo+CT) as compared to CT alone. However, the impact of combining ipilimumab to neoadjuvant Nivo+CT is not known till now. This infographic highlights the results and correlates of the two arms of the phase 2 platform NEOSTAR trial led by researchers from the University of Texas Anderson Cancer Center. The study tested neoadjuvant Nivo+CT and Ipi+Nivo+CT with the primary endpoint as the major pathologic response (MPR) for resectable NSCLC .
