Allocations of 3,073 crore rupees to set up a digital economy with emerging technologies in healthcare makes the budget distinct. Technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of things (IoT), blockchain and 3D printing are necessary for setting up a landscape of modern technology in healthcare delivery.

The successful implementation may possibly reduce the waiting period, improve productivity , and minimize human intervention in electronic medical records/ enterprise resource planning/ hospital information systems.
