A 10-year-old boy presented with complaints of deformity and back pain. He was moderately built with no significant neurological disorders. Pulmonary function test (PFT) values were low suggesting type II respiratory failure.
The patient did not give any history of previous head injury, and his preoperative brainstem MRI (Cover image) did not show any abnormality.
