A 52-year old male with Osteogenesis Imperfecta (OI) Type III suffered from severe pain in his left hip due to an unexpected move while sitting in his wheelchair. Before the incident, the patient was able to walk a few meters with the help of a walking device and used a wheelchair for the latter part. Other than OI, no other medical conditions were diagnosed in the patient.

The patient reported sustaining multiple fractures during childhood and never complained before of any left hip joint pain prior to this accident.
