A subluxated cataract is one of the most challenging conditions for the anterior segment surgeon to deal with today. Lens subluxation occurs when the zonular fibers are broken, and the lens is no longer held securely in place but remains in the pupillary aperture. This type of dislocation occurs due to trauma. With advances in technology, these clinical conditions can be increasingly managed via phacoemulsification, with the preservation of the capsular bag rather than by the conventional intracapsular cataract or pars plana techniques.

In this regard, Docplexus invites you to an informative webinar, where Dr. Ajoy Paul and Padmashree awardee Dr. Tatyarao Lahane will give their insights on “ Cataract Surgery ” on 19 th August 2021, 3 PM onwards. Stay tuned for more!
